THE PIECE
Color held in ice
Winter Sky is a small handleless ceramic cup finished in a muted sky-blue ice crackle glaze. Its softly scalloped petal rim and rounded form give the cup a quiet sculptural character, while layered crackle patterns develop naturally across the glaze during kiln firing.
With a compact 60 ml capacity, it is suited to concentrated tea servings, tasting pours, and small espresso drinks. The rounded body rests naturally in the hand, allowing the glaze texture and subtle blue-gray color to remain the focus.
